After speaking with his Father, I learned this precious little boy was adopted in South Dakota. I asked if I could take a pic and his proud Father said "Sure".

The more I looked at this guy, the more I liked his style.

Naomi

    I first met Naomi sleeping one morning last fall in a small park in Charleston. After I had been shooting for a few minutes at the park, she emerged from under a pile of blankets on a park bench. We talked for a while before she went on her way. Today, while I was standing on this corner, she happened by and she remembered me from the park. I was so happy to see that she looked well and was in good spirits. She talked quite a bit about living on the streets in Charleston. She said she had been sleeping at the homeless shelter at night. 

    These two college students appeared and asked her for an interview. They wanted her to define a few terms as best she could. One was "What is globalization". I have to say she did very well with the interview and I think the students were quite surprised. It's hard for me to imagine a life on the streets.
